Student’s life during and after Pandemic

Student’s life during and after Pandemic

The ongoing Pandemic has been tough for all be it working class, housewives, children’s, or students. This crisis-laden situation has aggravated further with deep sorrows from all. Farmers are not getting their benefit, Professionals have their pay cut, and companies firing employees but the ones worst affected are Students.

Well! Students are said to be the future and pillars of the economy. They are the one who drives the nation for better. Every day thousands of students graduate and join the workforce of the economy adding to GDP. They are now the most sensitive lot. Now their lives have been confined to four corners of the room. Online classes have become the trend now and hopefully will be in the future too. Some find it boring whereas other lacks the necessary concentration. Interaction between teacher and students are hampered. This way the young lot is finding it difficult to sit for too long. Their long-lost childhood has been severely amassed by technology. They don’t get to meet their peers. It’s affecting them mentally and there is no revival session for this. The only thing that can be done is to help them cope with the uncertainty of the situation. Parents can help them out by creating a rough timetable for a day and indulge them in some co-curricular online. I believe small children like the playschool and the primary grade must not have this type of class as it can affect their eyes. Apart from that, they get an ample amount of time to spend with their family.

Coming to the elder lot they have tried to adjust to the new norm. The most advantageous situation for them is their time saved from transportation. They get more time to study if utilized properly. Many have started pursuing their hobby and exploring themselves. This lot has become more tech-savvy. Graduates are learning new software and preparing for various competitive exams. It’s cutthroat competition and only the fittest of all survive. With the employment rate gone down, the huge cost-cutting measure has been applied by corporates. This is pushing this lot to work extremely harder and become more competitive. Students have geared themselves even better. Some have learned to live alone from family and run small errands themselves. They have become more accountable to live. This virus has taught them the existence of human life and things that we take for granted. They have learned the ecological way of living and taking extra care of body, mind, and soul. While going out they have taken extra measures to fight back this deadly pandemic. Recently we even found out some students from various cities creating innovative technologies like airtight PPE kits, different kinds of masks,s and other ways to deal with viruses. This is testimony that they are utilizing their time in every constructive way.

What could be the aftermath of the Pandemic? We will get to see a new creative lot coming out to be extremely competitive. People are exploring different facets of their personalities. Or jobs and employment opportunities will be created. Even though it will take time to revive the economy but we can expect positive outcomes from our generation of students. Moreover, they will become more family-oriented. We can expect them to be more empathetic toward others.

Last but not the least, these times have been tough for all. Physical activities are restricted and the majority are dealing with mental issues. All of us need to take a bow to do every possible to take care of other fellow human beings.
